Don't lose your academic edge over the summer. Keep your child's enthusiasm for learning high while enjoying a small-class learning environment. Emphasis will be given to strengthen and solidify language arts, science, and math concepts. Enjoy our fun and engaging classrooms while meeting with new friends and learning strategies for academic success from our great Team Members. This class will only be offered during Session 4 and will be offered for 45 minutes/day.

Ms. Andersen has enjoyed teaching Kindergarten for the past 16 years (because 5- and 6-year-olds are her favorite people). Ms. Andersen received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education as well as an Early Childhood Endorsement from Utah Valley University. She received her Master's Degree in Integrated Teaching through Fine Arts/Curriculum Design & Assessment from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Ms. Andersen believes that each child has great potential and she loves to meet a child where they are at and then help them excel in a way that nurtures their love for learning as well as their self-esteem. She has served many years as Team Lead and Mentor to new and returning teachers. She has had years of experience in managing multiple ability early childhood age groups while meeting their physical, emotional, and academic needs.

Ms. Andersen loves helping children learn how to read, write, and gain a strong foundation for math and science. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren, play the piano, read great books, and paint.

We are excited to add The PEAC Kindergarten to the quality programs we offer at The Pinnacle Education & Athletic Center. Starting in the 2019-20 school year, our private Kindergarten curriculum takes reading, writing, the arts, and athletics to a new level of advancement and enjoyment for little learners.

The PEAC Kindergarten focuses on accelerated academic preparation in reading, writing and math by experienced and caring teachers. Our curriculum is designed to help children achieve their personal potential while also helping them to develop a strong ability to succeed academically, athletically, and socially. The PEAC Kindergarten uses Saxon Math to create a strong foundation for academic success.

      High-level athletics are delivered by

ex-collegiate athletes with 2-3 days a week of soccer training as well as regular athletics curricula (Rock Climbing, Gymnastics, Yoga, Basketball, Baseball, Olympics, and Speed/Agility/Balance).

The PEAC Kindergarten will be structured similarly to The PEAC Preschool. Students will move between their main floor classroom to the upstairs athletic field for specialized sports training. Space is limited due to small class size.
