The PEAC Summer Kindergarten Readiness Program

       Jump start your child's formal education with an incredible 6-week Kindergarten Readiness Program. Our award-winning teachers have designed this program specifically for children who have attended at least one year of preschool and will be attending Kindergarten in the Fall. This program is packed with activities that will prepare your child for upcoming Kindergarten assessments as well as plenty of summer learning fun. During each day, your child will focus on reading readiness, phonemic awareness, number sense, and will enjoy time on our PEAC Athletic Field.  During the PEAC Kindergarten Readiness Course, your child will receive the tools needed to meet the first day of school ready and excited to learn. Classes are limited to only 15 students. Space is limited.

12 (2 Hours, 30 Minutes) Summer Classes

$280, Ages 4-5

TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS, JUNE 18th - JULY 30th, 12:30 - 3:00 PM (no class held on July 4th)

This program is limited to only 45 students (3 classes of 15)

Summer Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Beck currently teaches kindergarten in Alpine School District and has been educating young children for over 25 years. Her passion for early childhood education drives her work both within and outside of the classroom as she believes in a learning environment that supports a child’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.
Mrs. Beck holds a variety of industry awards, fellowships and appointments as a result of her exceptional contributions to early childhood education. She represented Utah as the 2011 State Teacher of the Year, former President of the Utah State Teachers of the Year Utah Chapter and has served on university educational advisory boards. Mrs. Beck was also awarded the NEA Foundation Award for Teaching Excellence and traveled to China representing the NEA as a Global Fellow. Most recently, she served as a Teacher Fellow Mentor for the Hope Street Group where she guided educators to elevate their voices for students and their profession.
Mrs. Beck is a graduate of Brigham Young University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and has completed her master’s equivalency. Mrs. Beck believes in an active, healthy lifestyle. She enjoys spending her time in the outdoors hiking, teaching water aerobics and has successfully run over14 marathons!
